Leaf Collection Time!

The annual Leaf collection is behind schedule, but the trucks should be rolling through the rest of our community soon.  Residents can place leaf piles by the street for pick-up before the scheduled start date for their zone. Putting leaves out on the last scheduled day of leaf collection for their zone will likely not result in them being picked-up. The city will continue to pick-up bagged leaves curb side during regular waste collection. Many residents like to use the leaf mulch so it would be recommended to ask neighbors if they would like your bagged leaves before letting the city take them.

The Mordecai Community falls into zones 8 and 11.

If possible, please try and park vehicles off of the street when leaf collection happens in your zone. It helps with the collection and will ensure no damage is done to your vehicle!
