I probably don't say it enough, but I am, and I have always been so proud of you all. I love seeing you so happy on the dance floor.

Timetable for June

Rueda de Casino on Mondays

The Monday classes in Brookvale will change a little bit in that we will now offer Rueda de Casino instead of Bachata. This class will be for beginners & intermediate.

Some of the students will level up and join the intermediate class, but I will contact them directly.

Join the Buena Vista Dance All-Stars on Tuesday

The BVD All-Stars are a great opportunity to boost your skills and get yourself stage ready. From June onwards we will have All-Stars Rueda de Casino classes for all levels from beginners to advanced.

7 pm: Rueda de Casino Beginners & Intermediate
8 pm: All-Stars Rueda de Casino (By invitation only)

I am planning on taking the Rueda choreography to the World Salsa Solo in November, so please get in touch as soon as possible, if you are interested in joining the team to compete and perform so we can start training and win some medals.

Thursday Classes in Camperdown Cancelled

Unfortunately, Camperdown Commons will close on Thursdays, so there won’t be any more salsa classes on Thursdays at the Commons for now!

Afrekete 4-6 August in Townsville

Journey through the history and roots of Cuban Culture, Dance and Music in the tropics of North Queensland!

The Afrekete special Tropical Edition will sneak start on Thursday with a pre-event then continue over the weekend of Afro-Cuban song, dance & rhythm workshops as well as live music and performances, plus an optional day trip to the beautiful Magnetic Island post-event Monday.

The whole main event will take place in one place – the iconic Seagulls Resort in a very central location up from the Strand.
