The WSKEPortal is an output of the Water Security Knowledge Exchange Programme - a long-term initiative that was funded by the Natural Environment Research Council. The legacy site for this initiative is still available here

The WSKEPortal is maintained by the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology.

It supports the objectives of the UK Water Partnership - a collaboration between the water industry, policy and research communities. It provides guidance and co-ordination for water research and innovation in the UK.
