PCI Gets Special Delivery
A new Phillips 1.5T MRI was delivered Monday, Aug. 31. The MRI will be used for internal body scans of the brain, spinal cord, knees, shoulders, vascular and arterial systems, kidneys, abdomen, just about anywhere doctors need a detailed picture of what's going on under your skin. Eventually, a breast imaging component will be added, increasing the versatility of this machine. You can see more photos of our newest technology on PCI's Facebook page.

PCI Welcomes New Pavilion Tenants
Forefront Dermatology and UnityPoint-St. Luke's STAR (Surgicare Screening Admission Registration) have opened for business in the PCI Medical Pavilion at 202 10th Street SE, Cedar Rapids. Forefront is located on the second level in suite 230. STAR is on level one, next to Caribou Coffee.

Albert & Helen Nassif Radiation Center Open House Sept. 21
Construction is winding down on the 10,000 square foot Albert G. and Helen Nassif Radiation Center. The Center is slated to begin providing radiation therapy treatments to patients starting mid-October and an open house is planned for September.
UnityPoint Health St. Luke’s Hospital’s Radiation Center is located in a facility adjacent to PCI Medical Pavilion and the Community Cancer Center. The freestanding radiation program will offer significantly lower costs for patients than those who receive radiation treatment within a hospital setting.
