Project Spotlight: New Orleans Jazz Market

The New Orleans Jazz Market is a two-story facility serving the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, including an auditorium/stage area with back-of-house space, office space (box office, manager’s office, and artistic director’s office), a front lobby, and an education/practice room.

Renewable Energy Cities:
Who’s at 100%?

Earlier this month, the city of Aspen announced that they are the third American city to be powered by 100% renewable energy. They join Burlington, Vermont and Greensburg, Kansas. Getting beyond coal has high barriers and size does matter.

Space will be limited to the first 18 registrants. Lunch will be provided by 3Form.
SIG is honored to now be an Elite Member of ENERGY STAR for Buildings. SIG certified 157 buildings in 2014. Our goal for 2015 is to re-certify all of those buildings and add new initial certifications.

Do you want a second opinion on your building’s
ENERGY STAR Score? Please contact Jeff Stewart (our ENERGY STAR Team Lead) here.
In 2012, Georgia Pacific earned LEED® O+M: Existing Buildings - LEED Silver® and is currently tracking LEED Gold® recertification, in great part due to their increased ENERGY STAR Score of 85. SIG has helped their efforts with retro-commissioning and continuous commissioning.
