Did You Know?

A  Majority of our Exhibits are Done In-House

The History Museum has a committee of several employees from different departments that meet weekly to bring forward ideas for new exhibits. With our changing exhibits we strive to work 5-7 years ahead before the exhibit actually opens.

The ideas brought to the exhibits committee are researched, tasks are divided among members, and eventually a new exhibit is developed. The pictures, posters,

and text panels are printed with our large-format printer and are mounted, cut out, and placed in the gallery.

It is a hard job to try and display a world-class exhibit, but the reward is seeing visitors reading, learning, and sharing what they have learned through our hard work and dedication.
