Stefanie Macfarlane, APRA Message From Our President

With September upon us, I know you’re probably thinking of the return of football, pumpkin spice, cooler weather and anything other than PRSA’s Member Code of Ethics. It should be the guiding principle behind any campaign or communication you prepare for your clients or organizations. Often, practitioners don’t realize how often they encounter ethical dilemmas. This month, I challenge you to become more familiar with the PRSA Member Code of Ethics and I invite you to take a deep dive into one of the core values—Independence—during this month’s program with my mentor and friend Roy Reid, APR, CPRC. We’ve moved this to a fully virtual event to be held on Thursday, September 16 at 8:30 a.m. We hope you’ll join us to learn more about providing objective counsel and become a trusted adviser. Don’t miss our ethics content on social media this month or the plethora of webinars from PRSA.

We’re also paying tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society as we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 through October 15).
