Indiana 811 has teamed up with Marco's Pizza to create a special offer of $8.11 for a large, one-topping pizza on Mondays in April in recognition of Safe Digging Month. This limited-time offer will serve as a reminder to Marco's customers to always contact Indiana 811 a few days before digging. Indiana 811 has provided web banners, web buttons and business cards within the Indiana 811 toolkit for members to use when promoting the 811 message this April. Find out if there are Marco's locations in your area by clicking here.
With Indiana Safe Digging Month starting this Friday, Indiana 811 reminds everyone to use the member tools available at Indiana811.org to promote Safe Digging Month. You can access the Indiana 811 toolkit by clicking here.

Baseball Opening Day is this Thursday, March 31, and Indiana 811 and several member utilities have partnered to promote 811 at several Indiana ballparks. Indiana 811 has partnered with Vectren, Citizens Gas and NIPSCO to sponsor various programs at the Evansville Otters, Indianapolis Indians and South Bend Silver Hawks, respectively.
NIPSCO and Indiana 811 representatives (including Holey Moley) attended a pep rally at an elementary school in the South Bend area in February to officially kick off the South Bend Silver Hawks' reading program the two organizations co-sponsor.

The 411 on 811
Due to the overwhelming success of last year's firehouse campaign, Indiana 811 has been heavily promoting this program at all of the recent pipeline safety presentations held across the state, in partnership with the Indiana Pipeline Awareness Association. Indiana 811 also mailed every fire station in the state a flier about this year's increased incentive to participate.
The first 100 fire stations to submit a picture of their marquee featuring an 811 message will receive a $50 donation towards their organization. All submissions will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a $200 donation to their organization. All donations are made possible through Vectren's support of Indiana 811. Be sure to look for 811 on your local fire station's marquee this April!
