Start Promoting National Safe Digging Month Today
April is just around the corner, and Indiana 811 has all the marketing tools to help you spread the National Safe Digging Month message to stakeholders. To help you promote safe digging this spring in one unified voice with other members, we've updated the marketing toolkit with press releases, web banners, fact sheets, talking points, internal communication templates and radio ads. You can access the Indiana 811 toolkit by clicking here. To order a banner for National Safe Digging Month, click here.

Celebrate National Safe Digging Month with $8.11 Pizzas
Indiana 811 is once again partnering with Marco's Pizza for a special offer of $8.11 large, one-topping pizzas on Mondays in April in recognition of National Safe Digging Month. The offer is not only a great price for a great meal, but an excellent way to remind customers to always call Indiana 811 two full working days before digging. 2014 Common Ground Alliance Communications Plan
For the fourth year, Common Ground Alliance (CGA) has developed an annual communications plan and calendar to guide stakeholders in their efforts to promote the 811 message and other damage prevention practices. The 2014 plan features a 12-month calendar with daily, weekly and monthly tasks, template news releases, contributed articles, sample social media posts, email blasts and case studies from successful campaigns in 2013. Indiana Pipeline Awareness Association's (INPAA) partnership with Radio Disney to raise awareness of Indiana 811 and natural gas safety among parents and children is one of the case studies featured in this year's plan. Indiana 811 encourages you to get involved in CGA's national campaign by downloading the 2014 Communications Plan and other toolkit elements at www.call811.com.
