LOCATION: The Ridge Gold Course & Event Center, 2020 Golf Course Rd, Auburn, CA
This Friday, February 24, hundreds of activists are planning to rally outside the Mountain Counties Water Resources Association’s (MCWRA) all-day symposium, “The New Trump Administration – A View from the Top,” where Congressmen Doug LaMalfa and Tom McClintock are expected to share “their views on the new Trump Administration on regional water interests.”

SYRCL volunteers will be on hand outside the event to educate and engage others in the “Dam Watchdog” campaign to challenge the Nevada Irrigation District’s plans to build Centennial Dam on the Bear River. More...

You are invited to the Centennial Dam Watchdog Activist Summit at Nevada Theatre on Monday, March 13, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. 

This is a chance for the community to take action locally, and we invite all who are interested in learning more about the impacts of Nevada Irrigation District’s Centennial Dam proposal to attend. This summit is designed to encourage concerned citizens to get involved in the federal environmental review process which is happening NOW and learn what will be on the horizon for this campaign in the coming year.
