A Special Thank You

We here at the North Yellowstone Education Foundation have a lot to be thankful for. We wanted to reach out and say 'thanks' to you for supporting us as we grow and expand our reach in our community.
We have been busy this summer/fall season and wanted to share a little bit about what we've been up to. This special thank you is for our supporters, teachers, school administrators, volunteers, and board members. We couldn't do this without you all!

Connect! Grants

Connect! Grants is our classroom grants program. This program is community funded, community driven, and community evaluated.

With your help, we raised $20,000 to distribute across the 2020-2021 school year. In our October cycle, we approved five grants, including new welding equipment for the welding program and STEM initiative at Little People's Learning Center, to mention just a couple!

We will review grants again on 1/21/20 and 4/01/20, or until funds have been expended.

For more information on how to apply, what other projects have been funded, or how to join our grant selection committee, please visit or email

Housing Initiative

NYEF is determined to be a solution to Gardiner’s housing challenges by providing affordable housing for teachers. We have received grants from AMB West Philanthropies and Park County Community Foundation, in addition to substantial individual donations, to bring this concept to fruition. With this momentum, and a stroke of good luck, we have an exciting major announcement coming! Stay tuned for big news for teacher housing before the year is through.

Recent Accolades

We received a $350,000 Behavioral Health Grant

North Yellowstone Education Foundation is the fiscal sponsor for Park County Special Education Cooperative (PCSEC). Under our fiscal umbrella and with our help, PCSES was able to apply for and receive a generous $350,000 grant from AMB West Philanthropies. This funding will help provide behavioral health support to students and teachers of Park County rural schools, regardless of IEP-status or financial need.

We Raised $45,000 through Give-a-Hoot!

Thanks to you, our generous supporters, we were able to meet our fundraising goal of $45K though Park County Community Foundations 2020 giving challenge, Give-a-Hoot. This is especially important this year as both of our annual in-person fundraisers had to be cancelled. We couldn’t do this without your support!
