Dear Politicos,
Wow. Big day. Sarah Palin just announced that she isn't running.
Transcript and her talk with Mark Levin here. I am not surprised. Two weeks ago, I would have been shocked. Her last appearance on Greta, though, had me believing that she wasn't going to run.
Yesterday, Chris Christie said he's not running.
Today,
Governor Perry hauled in, in seven weeks what it took Romney to raise in three months. That's good news. I'm 100% for Rick Perry.
You can read my reasons here. I would ask Palin supporters to really consider Rick Perry. There's a reason she so whole-heartedly endorsed him for Texas Governor. There's a reason they're good friends.
Just in: Steve Jobs has succumbed to pancreatic cancer. He beat the odds in so many ways, living as long as he did. Still, I cannot help but believe that one of the
brightest technological lights on earth has been snuffed out too soon. I am so sad for his family, his company and for all of us. We have been blessed by his innovations. Nearly every technology I touch has been tranformed by Steve Jobs. Ugh. Horrible. I hate death. May his many planted seeds grow more innovation in the strain of Steve Jobs. Yes. I am crying for his loss.
A great passage from a great speech by Steve Jobs:
"Don't let the noise of others opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
Here's a link to his
Stanford grad address. Well worth the 14 minutes.

And this:
Amanda Knox, the American student accused of sexual assault and murder has been exonerated and came home yesterday.
More on that here.
That's it for today. Death and loss put things in perspective. Life is short. I hope you're making the most of yours. I'm reflecting on mine.
