We are still recovering from the 2014 Grow Smart Awards held in Boise on November 13: a wonderful event that was very well attended in spite of the 8 inches of snow falling in the valley! Thanks again to everyone who came out, and to all the sponsors and volunteers! Congratulations to all of the winners! You can read about the event, and see some of volunteer Diane Ronayne’s photos, at our website here.

Upcoming events:

James Corless
We are excited to have a visit next week from James Corless, the director of Transportation for America (T4America), and we want to invite interested members to meet him and hear his thoughts about transportation challenges in the U.S., in Idaho and in Boise. Peter Koonce
We are co-sponsors for programs next week featuring Peter Koonce, a transportation engineer from Portland, Oregon, in town to provide training in multimodal transportation accommodation. Peter will present a lecture on “the DNA of City Streets: Rethinking the Use of Street Right of Way.” The event is free and open to the public.

Date: Wednesday, December 10
Time: 6-7 PM
Location: Jordan Ballroom, Boise State University

More information on Peter’s talk is available on our website here.
