Barber Valley Placemaking Report

We recently partnered with McKibben & Cooper Architects to complete a placemaking project in the growing Barber Valley area east of downtown Boise. The project's goal was to bring residents, property owners and business people together to envision opportunities for making better places within the valley.

The Idaho Conservation League invites you to meet Boise’s Comprehensive Planning Manager Daren Fluke and learn about Boise's Transportation Action Plan on Thursday, June 23rd from 4:30-5:30pm at the ICL Front Porch. Snacks and drinks provided.

Call for session proposals for American Planning Association Idaho's October conference, “Bridging Tradition and Innovation Through Planning." APA Idaho is seeking a broad range of session ideas that will appeal to planners in both urban and rural areas. More info here.
Help Ada County plan its future land uses by participating in the Ada County 2025 online workshop. Log on to review the preliminary focus areas and goals developed for the updated comprehensive plan and provide feedback or comments.

The 2017 New Partners for Smart Growth conference has an open call for session proposals from May 16th - June 30th. More info here. The conference will be held in St. Louis, MO from February 2-4, 2017.
