Learning about Placemaking

Idaho Smart Growth hosted two events with Project for Public Spaces (PPS) last week. The first was a placemaking workshop in Boise that focused on the purpose of placemaking and how to implement it.

The second was a two-day workshop in Meridian that allowed citizens to voice ideas on how to grow downtown Meridian as the "heart of the community."

The events were part of a grant-funded project with the Ada County Association of Realtors, designed in part to provide Idaho Smart Growth with placemaking expertise. We had a solid turnout for both events with a lot of positive feedback, and we look forward to working with PPS again in the future!
