ACC update

Increase in ACC Cost of Treatment

Health providers paid under the ACC Regulations 2003 will get a 2.22% increase in the amount ACC contributes towards to cost of treatment, consultation and imaging from 1 December 2016. Make sure to change the amount you invoice ACC for from that date.
Streamlining of ACC32 process
It will soon be faster and easier to request additional treatment for your clients through the new ACC32 process. Requests will be categorised as standard or non-standard, with standard requests being streamlined.
For more information on these changes, click here.

Research Review

Did you know that you can access medical publications free at Research Review? They have a dedicated Foot and Ankle Research Review which is endorsed by the Podiatry Registration Board. This means that time spent reading Research Review publications can be claimed as CCME credits. Check them out at their website or on the PodiatryNZ website. Make sure to subscribe so that you never miss an update!

AUT postgraduate programs 2018

AUT already has a strong offering of postgraduate courses in health science. We are pleased to announce that in 2018 AUT will be introducing podiatry postgraduate courses. These will include a certificate, a diploma, and a masters.

If you have any queries about these courses, please direct them to Angela Brenton-Rule at angela.brentonrule@aut.ac.nz.
