Call for Workshops: Making History, Owning our Stories
20-21 October 2016

http://paris2016.revfrance.org/submit-a-workshop

Most of our time we keep our attention away from what is important to us. This is the way capitalist societies work: dividing us from each other, estranging us from ourselves. We eat what has been produced for us to eat. We relate to people meant for us to meet, from the same class. We think what our minds are fed to think. That includes psychiatric thinking. All of this conditions how we behave in the world and toward each other.

Our World Hearing Voices Congresses, if nothing else, are places we build as shared spaces where we are able to consciously relate to each other and to take time being who we are, not who we are told to be. In that sense, starting from the experience of hearing voices but reaching far beyond it, the Hearing Voices Movement is, right from the beginning a liberation movement.

We want the Paris 8th edition of the Congress not to merely be a statement about liberation but rather an opportunity for everyone to live it.

You, reader, are invited to contribute a workshop of your own design. We are offering a warm and cosy place as well as a great audience to help you achieve an outstanding result: make everyone in your workshop feel more intensely alive and kicking!

We welcome highly interactive workshops, designed by/with voice hearers, inclusive of every way of thinking and being. The duration of the workshop is 1h30. It may be designed for audiences from 40 to 80 people. We will do our best to facilitate any setting aimed at completing the desired result.

Workshops on spirituality are most welcome.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
