Displaying the Love of God with Team Philippines
Over the past 6 months, I have been preparing for missions ministry with a team from my Colorado Springs Freedom Church family. We continue to seek the Lord's direction with willing hearts to serve the contacts in the Philippines that will be connecting us with the Aeta/Agta people who live in scattered, isolated mountainous parts of Luzon, Philippines. I fly from Freetown, Sierra Leone to meet the team on June 20 in the Philippines, where we will spend two weeks serving the Lord and these people together. We plan to perform some gospel dramas and to minister with local Filipino believers.
Praise God for providing financially so that I can join this team, and please partner with us in prayer that these largely unreached people would trust in and exalt Jesus as Lord and Savior.
“Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you survivors of the nations!
They have no knowledge who carry about their wooden idols, and keep on praying to a god that cannot save.
Declare and present your case; let them take counsel together!
Who told this long ago? Who declared it of old?
Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no other god besides me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none besides me.
“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return:
‘To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’ (Isaiah 45:20-23)
