TAB Transit Ratings Development Complete
Dear TAB Member,
We are very proud to announce that TAB has completed the development of transit measurement and it has now been incorporated into TAB Out of Home Ratings. Our member media companies with transit properties are incorporating the new ratings into their day to day business practices.
The following are some major accomplishments achieved by incorporating transit into our ratings system. The new measurement includes:
- 95 systems in 37 markets currently available
- A total of 180 systems in 55 markets scheduled
- 1.5 million pieces of inventory
- 69 transit media types
- 649 available demographics
- The ability to look at combined reach and frequency data, at the market level, between transit and roadside formats.
Nielsen/IMS and Telmar are now integrating transit ratings into their planning systems. Transit is also being incorporated into TAB's Audience Delivery System (ADS). Currently, access to transit data is limited to TAB member media companies who have transit properties and full TAB member agencies through TAB directly. All member agencies and media companies, including those without transit properties, will be able to access the transit ratings data when the updates to Nielsen/IMS, Telmar, and ADS become available. We will inform you when these systems are ready to go.
