Monument Mining Limited Reminds Shareholders to Vote

Monument Mining Limited (TSX.V: MMY) (“Monument” or the “Company”) would like to remind its shareholders to vote in advance of the deadline, 4:00 P.M. Pacific Time on December 28, 2011, to ensure their votes are received in a timely manner.
 
The Company is holding an Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the “Meeting”) at 910 - 688 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 4:00 P.M, Pacific Standard Time.
 
SHAREHOLDERS ARE URGED TO VOTE TODAY
 
At the Meeting, shareholders will be asked to approve, among other things, the Company’s acquisition of a 70% interest in the Mengapur Polymetalic Project in Malaysia (the “Acquisition”) and the concurrent financing of the Acquisition by way of private placement. These items are discussed in detail in the Information Circular dated November 25, 2011 which can be on the Company’s website at www.monumentmining.com. Additional information can be found also be found at www.sedar.com.
 
The Directors of the Company recommend that shareholders of the Company vote in favour ALL proposed items.
 
HOW TO VOTE
 
Your vote is important, no matter how many or how few shares you may own. Whether you are able to attend the meeting or not, we urge you to vote TODAY.
