It's time for our annual Red & White Ball for the Center for the Visually Impaired's STARS program! This is a Prom for the middle & high school age kids at CVI, complete with a crowning of King & Queen of the Ball. Delta Gamma provides the funding and support of this great philanthropic event. With your generosity, we are able to pay for the event space, food, DJ, decorations and auction items. We are calling on you once again to help make this a memorable event for the kids. Please remember that many of these students may not be invited to, or can afford, to attend their schools' proms or dances, so we want to make this night special!
The Ball will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Midtown Atlanta.
You can help us in the following ways:
1.VOLUNTEER:We need volunteers on the day of the event to decorate, clean up, check-in, serve food, take pictures and dance with the kids. Feel free to invite your spouse, children (ages 12+) and friends to help out with this fun event! The volunteer time slots are: 9:30 am-12:00 pm (Decorate); 5:30-7:30 pm (Set up); 7:00-9:30 pm (Clean up)
To those who want to volunteer, please select a time slot and number of volunteers on the link below.
2.MONETARY DONATIONS:If you would like to send monetary donations, you can do so via credit card via the link below under the Monetary Donations section. If you would prefer to write a check, you can make checks payable to "Delta Gamma," and contact Megan Spellman at email@example.com for mailing information. This event- including the DJ, food, and decorations- is paid for exclusively by your donations, so please think of us while you plan for your New Year giving!
Please remember that this is an event solely funded & run by the Delta Gamma Atlanta Alumnae chapter. So it's up to us to make this a special night for the CVI kids. If you can help out in any way, we would be appreciative.
Thank You for "Anchoring for a Cause" with us at our fall fundraiser on October 17th at Fado Irish Pub! We raised over $800 for Service for Sight!

Our Atlanta Alumnae Chapter supports and works closely with the Delta Iota Chapter at the University of Georgia. Read on for some news and upcoming events as well as a very exciting colonization announcement at another college in Georgia that will need our support!
The Delta Iota Chapter at UGA initiated over 80 New Members in October! Initiation was held on Sunday, October 18th at the Athens Classic Center. Thank you to Atlanta alumnae who attended initiation! Our Atlanta Alumnae Chapter also contributed to their initiation cake!
Delta Gamma is honored to welcome our Eta Chi-Georgia College chapter to our Fraternity this upcoming January! Georgia College (formally known as Georgia College and State University) is a public liberal arts university located in Milledgeville, Georgia. Delta Gamma was one of four organizations to present (along with Alpha Phi, Alpha Gamma Delta and Gamma Phi Beta), and was the organization selected first in a “stacked†invitation – meaning, Alpha Gamma Delta will also join the community in no less than two years following Delta Gamma’s colonization. We will be the seventh Panhellenic group to join the community.
We are excited to be joining this esteemed community and we look forward to sharing more details with you as soon as possible. We will be in touch very soon with more details, including how to get involved and how to sponsor women for membership. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
Were you a colonizing member at your chapter? If so we would love to hear your story! If interested in sharing, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Help us make this year record breaking! Our fiscal year is 07/01/2015-06/30/2016. Don't see your name listed below of 160 dues paying members? Click Here for information on how to pay your dues to our local Atlanta chapter or email us at email@example.com and we can send you our membership form.
We would like to give special recognition to those Bronze level members (who pay at our highest dues level) and our *Anchored for a Cause* members (who made an extra donation of $15 in the spirit of this year’s theme)!
