Halifax Stanfield International Airport
Nova Scotia, Canada

SBA would like to welcome the Halifax Stanfield International Airport to our roster of clients. 


Halifax Stanfield International Airport—located in Halifax, Nova Scotia—has selected SBA to help it optimize revenue from the airport’s already award-winning terminal concessions program.
 
The contract is our firm’s first with a Canadian airport.

Airports Council International - North America Website


ACI-NA 2014 CEO Forum and Winter Board of Directors Meeting
SBA attended the invitation-only CEO Forum and Board of Directors meeting of the Airports Council International - North America in Tucson, Arizona from February 5 - 7, 2014.

Helping to set the airport industry agenda for 2014, the Forum featured executive-level presentations and discussions on the U.S. and global state of the industry.

At the conference, Steve caught up with clients and other top industry leaders, exchanging information and ideas about the latest trends and issues in aviation and airport management.

Updates: Client Milestones
 

  • Syracuse-Hancock International Airport. Progress continues to be made regarding the transfer of Syracuse Hancock Regional Airport from the City of Syracuse to a newly-created independent Syracuse Regional Airport Authority. This past December, SBA, serving as consultant of record, submitted the Authority's application to the FAA to assume control of the airport. FAA approval of the transaction is anticipated to occur March 1st. SBA will continue to serve Syracuse with transitional services to all parties during the upcoming year. For more info about the airport, visit: http://www.syrairport.org. 
 
  • Dutchess County Airport.We have submitted our final report to Dutchess County regarding our comprehensive operational and financial assessment of the Dutchess County Airport. The report—which summarized our top-down review of airport operations, FBO performance, and financial and management issues—contained several specific recommendations to enhance airport revenue and bolster operations.
