"I only need one word to describe Birthright-'Wow.'  Our experiences varied from taking fun trips, like touring an olive oil factory, and swimming, or rather floating, in the Dead Sea, to discussing heavier topics. Each day’s excursions brought an array of emotions as well as the chance to consider new perspectives.

We were amazed by the resilience of our people, the history of the region, and the amount of schnitzel served daily. I’ll never forget this incredible experience. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy all that Israel has to offer. Until then, I’ll settle for dates that will never taste quite as good, and hold onto memories of fresh tahini, pita bread, and hummus."
