As you may know, volunteers are a fundamental part of our organization's work. The last fiscal year our volunteers collectively donated 8,321 hours of their time. This had a value of in-kind services of about $104,000 for the agency! W.O.M.A.N., Inc. truly could not thrive as we do without them. April 12th through the 18th was National Volunteer Appreciation Week and one of the ways we worked to celebrate our beloved helpers was by featuring some of them throughout the week on our social media platforms. You can check these outstanding people out by following this link. With that said, from events to outreach to support line, thanks a million to our volunteers! We deeply appreciate all your dedication, generosity and passion for the cause.

There will be an art project each week as well as some other activities such as guided meditations, breathing exercises, etc. It is designed for anyone who is impacted by domestic violence. We are using projects designed by “A Window Between Worlds.” There will be group agreements that we will review at the beginning of each group. Weekly sessions will began on April 20th and will continue until the 13th of July. You can find out more information on our blog here.
