Teens Being Saved in Local Juvenile Detention Centers
Every month, incarcerated teens are being saved in Hampton Roads juvenile detention centers through an outreach arm ofRoyal Rangers, a 57-year-old church-based discipleship program that thousands of K-12 boys are now involved in across the nation.
Royal Rangers in a church looks like a combination of Christian Boy Scouts and Sunday School ministries for boys. Since its inception in 1962, the Royal Rangers ministry has influenced the lives of over 2 million men and boys in the United States and around the world. Royal Rangers in a jail for teens looks a little different.
Every month, men and women over 18 go into several juvenile detention centers to meet incarcerated teens, play a game with them, sing with them, feed them and share the Gospel.

Also, please keep this information within the Christian community! There are non-Christian people who would fight against this ministry if they knew it was so effective in reaching kids for Jesus.

I have heard good things about this from friends who just saw it. What does it say about our American society that we allow the super-painful, cruel killing of babies? What does God think of such a society? What does God think of Christians, churches and pastors who remain silent while this happens? We may not be able to change the laws quickly, but is that sufficient reason to not try--or to not speak up in defense of the most vulnerable and innoccent of people? We all have to choose...and God notices.
