Dr. Meg Frazier conducts the NOVA Chorale
LUCEAT: To the Creator of Light
NOVA’s specialty is contemporary a cappella
repertoire, and this concert is no exception,
including works by Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre,
John Rutter, John Paynter, Francis Poulenc,
Arvo Pärt, Joan Szymko, and Stephen Paulus.
Most of the works on our concert juxtapose ancient
texts or musical materials with contemporary choral
settings around the theme of light.
Come take a breather from the rush of the holiday
season. NOVA’s phenomenal choral singers
in the gorgeous space of Holy Name Church
with a program of sheer beauty—there is no better way
to celebrate the season, reflect, and renew the spirit.
