MELK goes to Paris
Ola Rindal, Mårten Lange and Linn Pedersen at Nofound Photofair in Paris
MELK is invited to the new contemporary photography fair in Paris titled Nofound Photofair. The fair is arranged for the first time this weekend during the photo week in Paris and includes more than 40 booths ranging from classical exhibitions to installations. The doors are open 11-14 November and the fair is located at 66 Rue de Turenne in Paris.
We are proud to bring along recent works by Mårten Lange, Linn Pedersen and Ola Rindal. We have picked three artists that we believe show a tendency in young Scandinavian photography combined with a drive and passion within the field. The works selected for the fair all share inspiration from nature and bring a undefined but curious narrative from the north of Europe to Paris.
In addition to the physical works, we feature the new MELK traveling bookshop with selected titles by Katinka Goldberg, Sveinn Fannar Jóhannsson, Verena Winkelmann, Bjarne Bare, Kristine Jakobsen, Linn Pedersen and Mårten Lange.
We will also do portfolio reviews on Saturday and Sunday and take part in a panel discussion on Sunday afternoon chaired by Marc Prüst where we will discuss issues related to new challenges in exhibiting photography in contemporary art spaces.
More information can be found at the Nofound Photofair website.
We hope to see you there!
