So today's newsletter might get a little deep. Apologies in advance. I hope you will stay with it till the end because I know it will make sense if you read all the way through and change how you view things in the future. Enjoy.

Louise Hay talks about physical symptoms being little more that the manifestation of our negative thought patterns over a period of time. I'm not sure I completely agree. I know that more and more psychology research shows that some illness can be attributed to our mental states. Many of you will know that last week I was attending a 6 day conference on the Gold Coast with Tony Robbins. During that time a lot of fun was had and also a lot of emotional 'blockages' were uncovered. What happens every time you do some work to 'clear' these blockages is that most (not all) people will get flu-like symptoms. Since the conference ended last week I have had fever, chills, body aches, coughing, sore throat, more body aches and extreme fatigue. Finally today I am starting to feel better. I see all these as a positive sign of my body and my mind letting go of the thought patterns that may have held me back.

Let me explain a little more. If you think of a time in your life. It can be a sad time, emotional time, happy time, just think of a time. If I were to ask you where in the body you feel that -  or - where in the body that memory sits - you would be able to point to it. We store every memory in our body. And sometimes our attachment to those memories and what they mean, are also stored, but not at a conscious level. So sometimes we have to get in there and spring clean them out. We need to throw the windows open, dust, polish, vacuum and often discard those things that are hidden and affecting us in our daily relationships and decisions.

When we examine our fears, thoughts, negative patterns and values (especially what rules we have about those values) we might find we give our selves lots of reasons to not be happy, successful, excited and so on. By tweaking, changing or eliminating them we can really step up. It's so exciting to uncover and let go of the things that hold you back. I loved being at the conference and getting a chance to be coached through some of these things. I also love working with my coach. So my wish for you this week, find a coach to work with, dig deep and pull out all that stuff that sits in your body and mind, release it and replace it with new, bright, shiny thoughts and patterns that will make you feel amazing. Just be aware you may feel worse before you feel better.

have a great week.

Til next time

“We can't be afraid of change. You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don't have something better.”
