Listen to your heart... it knows best
This week, we are discussing:

Listen to your heart.

It knows best?

Listen to your heart. We have all heard this before. Sometimes we forget though how much our heart knows. Often we have a heart decision or knowing that our mind tries to talk us out of. Long before you quit your job, leave a relationship or have an important conversation your heart has been softly whispering to you to take some action.

Often we shut out our hearts because 'logic' wants us to do something else. Logic says 'this too will pass'. Logic says 'If I do this what will happen?' Logic says 'they must just be having a bad moment'. And logic says 'You have something to learn in this situation so don't give up'. Your heart says 'I love you and only want want is best for you'. What is best for you might be staying in a situation that challenges you. It might bring opportunities for growth and excitement. Or it might be that your heart, in it's infinite wisdom, is letting you know that the time is now to make some changes.

Those changes might be leaving a toxic situation. It might be leaving a job or relationship. It might mean having a difficult conversation. It could be that you are being pushed to look at your own behaviour. Or it could be that now is the right time to take and action on making your dreams come true. Whatever it is, only you can decide whether you listen to your heart or whether you let your mind (which often includes all those well meaning people from your past and present) and what to do.

There is a technique called heartmath. You can find lots of information on their website (http://www.heartmath.org/ ).At the most basic level - put your hand on your heart and wait until you feel like your heart and your breathing are in sync. When you feel connected, then ask your question. This will help you to hear the sweet small voice that is your heart. There are loads of resources on that site so have a look, download the free book and explore.

have a great week.

Til next time
