August's First Market

They're Back...

Remember Zena Foods and their delicious hummus blends? Well, our old friends at to the market. If you have been missing their delicious spreads or that spicy Tunisian harissa, now is your chance to stop by and pick up a tub.
Sweet corn has returned to our market from the folks in Brentwood at G&S Farms. The season for their white sweet corn is at its peak.
Specialty Greens will be bringing micro greens for you to add to your salads and soups. Maybe you want to start some market foods in your own backyard? Patty with Speciality Greens will be bringing sustainably grown plants for your own garden.
Split Rail Farms will be here with their sustainable lamb and pork. Don't forget their woolies and yarn along with everything else they offer.
Sustainable produce and sustainable community; they go hand-in-hand at the Kensington Farmers' Market.

In Da House Sunday

Little Spike is a happy combination of instruments, influences and styles that is truly greater than the sum of its parts. It is a sound at once original and respectful of its jazz, swing, Latin, and funk origins.

This man goes by the name of El Jefe (his real name is Chris). He has been known to frequent the Market and often wanders from booth to booth asking for money or vegetables.

If you see this man at the Market this Sunday, please confront him and wish him a Happy Birthday!
