TFP Publishing Trends - February 2014

Hello TFP Community!

Last month on our blog, I introduced a new series, the Effective Content Backbone, that discussed the essential elements of effective content. I highlighted four major components:
  • A well-defined, common content structure.
  • Effective, well-documented, and clearly communicated content process.
  • Centralized standards, governance, and oversight.
  • Well-orchestrated and current systems and technologies.
This month, I had the opportunity to share my message at an IDEAlliance eMedia21 session, which focused on giving publishers an opportunity to voice their new challenges and come together to find solutions. My topic, Content Structure for Effective Content Workflows, was a subject that was core to the theme of the session, and it's a hot topic among attendees.

Click below to learn more about my talk, and to view the presentation.

You'll hear more about this topic in our continuing series on the Effective Content Backbone next month!

Warm Regards-
Margot Knorr Mancini, Founder & CEO
