April 22nd's Conversation:

Continued Learning While Social Distancing

Gateway is moderating a Q&A with 3 panelists (OT, RT and Psychologist) from Centre for Autism Services Alberta aimed at Caregivers.

Caregivers are living with a loss of routine, aides, support systems, outdoor/nature, systems of care, etc. When finances, resources, time, energy is lacking, the question becomes “ what can we do with what we have”. This age group is transitioning to adulthood regardless of the pandemic, and caregivers’ foremost needs appear to be around support for in-home life skills and living skills development.

Aimed at caregivers supporting 15-21 year olds on the Autism Spectrum.
