Spring is here and there are lots of ways to enjoy a bright and beautiful day in Downtown Clearwater! From music to markets, arts to food, and exploring your favorite businesses. Next week Food Truck Thursday will celebrate National Make Lunch Count Day, so please don't skip your lunch break. The sounds of ukuleles will be heard all along Cleveland Street as the 2nd Annual Ukulele Fest returns to The District. If you are looking to dance the night away make sure to save the date for Salsa de Mayo. Plus all April long take advantage of free Spring Break park-and-ride connecting Downtown to Clearwater Beach.

Free Spring Break Park-and-Ride Service
Now through April 30, 2023
 
Park & Ride is a program that offers beach visitors a place to park in a free designated lot, and then ride the trolley to the beach for free. Trolley Park & Ride service runs:
  • Monday through Thursday, every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday to Sunday, every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and until 10 p.m. on Sundays
Park for free any day of the week at the former Clearwater City Hall location, 112 S. Osceola Ave., and board for free there, at the Clearwater Beach Transit Center or the Clearwater Beach Marina. Return service to the parking lot boards at the Clearwater Beach Marina, 25 Causeway Blvd. in Clearwater. 

Additional parking is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday at: County Garage at 310 Court Street and the surface parking lots at 450 Oak Avenue and 440 Court Street.
April is Earth Month
 
Celebrate Earth Month throughout Clearwater by participating in a variety of activities for all ages honoring our shared home. Take the water conservation pledge, learn how to reduce food waste, attend a library or cleanup event, or plant a tree.

Taste of Ethnicity

The city of Clearwater is launching an events series called “Living the Culture” which will celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity and promote the value of embracing living together in harmony.

The first event in the Living the Culture series, “Taste of Ethnicity,” will be held to commemorate World Diversity Day. This inaugural free culture festival will celebrate the vast array of cultures and heritages represented in Clearwater through art, food, and performances, and to bring awareness, education and family fun to Downtown Clearwater.

Cleveland Streetscape Phase III and Mercado construction continues in the Downtown Gateway neighborhood and as we get closer to project completion this summer we remind you that all businesses remain open during construction.
