December and January have demonstrated incredible strength in the Boston and Greater Boston real estate markets. Lower interest rates, post election ease, quarantine restlessness, investment stability, a shift in lifestyle along with pricing opportunities have all contributed. Additionally our data demonstrates that inventory is tighter, days on market are lower, pricing is slightly reduced (in the city) and the real estate market is stable. All of this suggests the signs of an early spring market. I would recommend to my clients who are considering buying or selling this year to get an early start.
