Dear Friends of Anthroposophic Nursing Around the World,

The IFAN Steering Committee invites you to an online three-hour seminar

on Saturday, March 12 and 13.

The seminar will be held in three languages and three time zones.

When we imagine the situation of anthroposophic nursing, when we collect news and thoughts from our colleagues all over the world, when we listen to the voices of those who are connected in the meditation of the nurses’ verse, then we find a very differentiated and colorful picture. There are severe attacks against Anthroposophy in many European countries, we regret a deep splitting in statements about pandemic and vaccination issues in the anthroposophic communities as well as in our families. We find the awakening of a global consciousness regarding ecological questions. And there are much more questions than answers.

We look on such amazing and encouraging events like the opening of the beautiful “Haus of Warmth”, an initiative of our French colleagues, or on the multiprofessional IPMT in Colombia with a Pan-South American group of nurses or an international online seminar organized by the University of Chile, or the public anthroposophic conference in Malaysia with more than 1.300 participants! We are at the beginning of long-lasting transformation process. We call it pandemic or climate change – and we know that these are the labor pains of the consciousness soul.

The IFAN Steering Committee invites you to an online three-hour seminar. The seminar will be held in three languages and three time zones

on Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13.

In March 2021 many friends gathered to participate in an online program that served to connect and nourish us. We offer this opportunity again to all nurses who feel connected to Anthroposophy to join in the second annual IFAN worldwide online seminar.

The International Federation of Anthroposophic Medical Associations (IVAA) is organising a Capacity Building Training, organised in 7 sessions this year. The training will start February 9th and will be held every second Wednesday from 19.00 to 20.30 CET/CEST for EU based participants. Please find the program attached.
The Capacity Building Training is the online adaptation of our Leadership training held in Dornach in September 2021, built around the example of the WHO benchmarks for training in Anthroposophic Medicine. We welcome any interested anthroposophic medical professionals and practitioners, who are interested in improving their advocacy and communication skills in view of the publication of the WHO benchmarks.
The aim of this initiative is to provide participants with hands-on skills to develop and implement communication and advocacy strategies at local and national level following the publication of the WHO benchmarks.

The training sessions will be organized via Zoom in English and are free of charge. The training is held by the IVAA team and board members with extensive advocacy and communications experience.
Please circulate this information amongst members of your national organization by forwarding the attached program. A detailed agenda is available here. Registration will be open until 7 February 2022, 12h CET here
Should you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact

The Senate needs to hear from ANHE nurses for urgent climate action!

On Friday morning November 19th, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Build Back Better Act which is the most significant investment in climate in U.S. history! Check out ANHE’s press release!

The much anticipated vote on BBBA was postponed in December 2021. It is time to keep the pressure on the U.S. Senate and let them know how urgently we need the climate and health action included in Build Back Better.

Call (1-877-215-0983) or message your Senator today and urge them to fight for climate action, jobs, and justice. The harms of climate change hurt us all. It’s time we all come together to make our future cleaner, healthier, and more equitable.
