In honor of International Pride Day, we’re proud to present the LGBTQ+ Rights database, the newest addition to the perpetually free Social Justice Suite. This collection consists of materials relating to the gay rights movement in America from 1950 until present day, including an interactive timeline, as well as subject-coded court cases, scholarly articles, books, pamphlets, reports, and more.

Roe v. Wade Has Been Overturned: Read the Findings in HeinOnline

One June 24, the Supreme Court ruled in Dobbs v. Jackson to overturn Roe v. Wade, the court case that had established a constitutional right to an abortion. This comes after a controversial leak of the Court’s draft decision back in May. The Court ruled 6-3, with Justices Samuel Alito, Amy Coney Barrett, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Clarence Thomas as the majority, Justice John Roberts writing a concurring opinion, and Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kegan dissenting.
