6th Global Forum Shifts to Virtual Format

In response to the increase in rates of COVID-19 infection and the rapid spread of the omicron variant, and recognizing the challenges and uncertainties around changing travel restrictions and local and regional mandates, the 6th Global Forum on TB Vaccines will be convened as a fully virtual event. To facilitate participation, it will now take place over four days, from 22 - 25 February 2022. Read the full COVID statement here.

6th Global Forum Becomes an Official Event of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union
The 6th Global Forum on TB Vaccines, which is hosted by Toulouse, France under the high patronage of President Emmanuel Macron and under the patronage of Minister of Solidarity and Health Olivier Véran, has been labeled an event organized in the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
6th Global Forum Program

The 6th Global Forum program will cover the full spectrum of TB vaccine research and development, and will include plenary sessions, oral abstract sessions, and poster discussion sessions. 

We are delighted to announce the following confirmed speakers in the Opening and Closing Sessions:

  • Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (Opening Session)
  • Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (Opening Session)
  • Philippe Sansonetti, Emeritus Professor at the Institut Pasteur and Collège de France (Opening Session)
  • Seth Berkley, CEO of GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance (Closing Session)
  • Marisol Touraine, Chair of the Executive Board of Unitaid and Former French Minister of Health (Closing Session)
