Dear <<Title>> <<Last Name>>
After our summer break we are back with a new product. We are pleased to present you not only the new product - GENOMER* 3486 - but also the corresponding eProductFlash. Get to know the product and its features on several pages in the eProductFlash. Would you like to test the product? You are welcome to order a sample directly on our website.

As an autumn highlight, we are looking forward to the upcoming RadTech conference, where we will be represented with a virtual booth. Would you like to know more about the formulation and applications for excimer curing? Or are you interested in 3D printing with sustainable raw materials? Then don't miss the two presentations by Dr. Volker Petry on October 19 at 11.00h and Dr. Darren Lumber on October 20 at 10.30h. Further information can be found further down in the newsletter. We are looking forward to seeing you!
PRODUCTS
GENOMER* 3486

GENOMER* 3486 polyester acrylate resin for UV/EB curable coatings, inks, adhesives and 3D printing applications. GENOMER* 3486 allows a reduction of the monomer content in the final formulation due to its low viscosity. The product shows potential to be used in food packaging applications. The good pigment wetting makes this product an ideal candidate for pigment grinding.

  • Very low viscosity and low yellowing
  • Good chemical resistance and adhesion
  • Good surface hardness and wear resistance
  • Good pigment wetting and cure response
NEWS
GENOMER* 3143 & GENOMER* 4293 compliant with IKEA regulations

Not the Emmys or the Oscars, but our two new biobased products GENOMER* 3143 & GENOMER* 4293 have been accepted 'compliant to IKEA regulations'. We are proud that this standard could have been achieved with our new developments.

The year 2021 so far, has also brought for RAHN a successful ISO 9001 review and an updated Ecovadis evaluation, where RAHN achieved bronze rating, awarded in recognition of sustainability achievement.
FEATURE
Do you already use an excimer lamp?

Have you always wanted to know about the formulation of UV curable acrylate-based systems for curing with excimer lamps?

Then tune into the online presentation of Dr. Volker Petry, Head of Application EnergyCuring Europe RadLab AG, to learn which resins and reactive diluents to select in order to achieve a low gloss of UV-curable formulations and about specific features including photoinitiator choices, cure speed, film thickness, oxygen level and additives to increase matting. Want to make your 3D printing even more sustainable?

3D Printing is a rapidly growing industry and end-users are seeking oligomers that offer exceptional strength, stiffness and toughness, together with excellent impact-resistance properties. While formulating with existing products can sometimes achieve these goals, the products used tend to be traditional fossil fuel based. As sustainability is gaining importance raw material suppliers need new innovative products to achieve ultimate performance in a sustainable manner. Here we evaluate the use of several new bio-renewable oligomers for 3D printing and additive manufacturing.

Discover the background of these hot topics during the presentation of Dr. Darren Lumber Technical Key Account Manager EnergyCuring at RAHN AG.
