Sunday Propers

O God, you have taught us to keep all your commandments by loving you and our neighbor: Grant us the grace of your Holy Spirit, that we may be devoted to you with our whole heart, and united to one another with pure affection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Music Highlights
This Sunday we will be singing two "newish" hymns in worship: “We all are one in mission” and “Lord, you give the great commission.” While the words may be new to you, the tunes--Nyland and Abbott's Leigh--should be familiar to you if you have worshipped in an Episcopal church for some time. (They are hymns #778 and #780 in the green Wonder, Love and Praise hymnal)  To (re)familiarize yourself with these hymns, you can find videos of these songs sung here:
"We all are one in mission"  | WLP #778 |Words by Rusty Edwards  | Music: Nyland, Finnish folk melody; adapt. and harm. David Evans  | Sung by Sung by members of the St. Columba Singers from St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Washington, DC.
