On behalf of The Social Engineering Project, Inc., I want to humbly thank you for your generosity and support of our End of the Year Fundraiser that we held at Inglenook Winery in Napa Valley on October 8, 2022. It was a beautiful, 85-degree day, with over 130 people in attendance.
We honored Northrop Grumman as our Sponsor of the Year and GoPro as our Partner of the Year. Moreover, we honored the Coleman and Teclemariam Families and our Panelists Dao Jensen, Regina Wallace-Jones, and Laura Teclemariam, moderator Philip Person, and Mistress of Ceremonies, Cheryl Hurd.
I would like to thank Chris Evans Events for the delicious food and event planning assistance and Josiah Groeneweg at Inglenook for his assistance as well. Thanks to our Venture Capital Level Sponsor Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Angel Investor Level Sponsors Okta and GoPro, and all of you, we have raised $46,548.22 of our $100,000 goal by the end of this calendar year.
Your contributions will help us build the capacity to make two new hires this year and serve over 100 underrepresented students of color to pursue STEM-related careers. For example, we will host 30 students next month for our 2nd Annual Asset Management Data Science Camp with MSCI, Wells Fargo, and Comerica Bank.
