Festival season returned full of energy!

Thank you for a wonderful return to fall festival season!

Fall festival season is always an exciting time for us, where we get to share our love of taiko with new audiences and long-time fans. After a break in 2020, we returned to the festivals this year full of energy and ready to perform festival favorites as well as new arrangements showcasing our entire ensemble.

The rain didn't deter festival-goers from the opening ceremony at Missouri Botanical Garden and the weekend was a huge success!

We also returned to Springfield for the Japanese Fall Festival this month, where we were welcomed with warm hospitality and plenty of cool treats to temper the late summer heat.

We are so grateful to the organizers and volunteers who help to make these festivals a success; this festival season was especially meaningful to our group after the long absence from live audiences. And thank you to our fans, whose kiai's keep us going! Arigato gozaimoshita!

Congrats to our community group members!

Our adult all-levels taiko class resumed this summer with an enthusiastic group of new and returning students ready to play taiko.

After just eight weeks of classes, the students gathered for a performance at Missouri Botanical Garden's Japanese Festival, showing off their new skills in front of a live audience. They did not disappoint!
