New Girls Who Code club forming now!

We have great news for Kansas City-area girls who like to code or would like to learn more about it. Thanks to the enthusiasm and leadership of Girls App Camp volunteer Ruby Rios, KC STEM Alliance will sponsor a new Girls Who Code Club this school year at the KC Engineering Zone.

The club is free for girls in grades 6-12 and will meet at the KC Engineering Zone, 4825 Troost Ave., from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays starting Sept. 21. Ruby was inspired to form a new club after finding the only other chapter in the metro had a waiting list. Learn more about Girls Who Code clubs.

Spread the word!

We can use your help to spread the word about this opportunity. We're looking for both club members and adult volunteers with coding knowledge. It's a great opportunity to get involved with the local #GirlsinTechKC movement!
