St. Ambrose Newsletter October 8, 2019
St. Ambrose Catholic School

October 8, 2019

A Note from
Our Principal

Greetings Hornet Hive!
I'm delighted to have some cooler weather this week, and I pray you and your family have an opportunity to enjoy it while it lasts.
Speaking of weather, we have rescheduled our conferences that were postponed due to the storm that came through a few weeks ago. October 24th and 25th, faculty members will be on-site to meet with you. Friday, October 25th, is a noon dismissal.  Please see the links below to schedule a conference. Everyone who wishes to meet must sign-up on the links from this newsletter as the previous sign-ups are no longer accurate. When registering for a conference please be sure to include the student's name in the information so our faculty can best prepare for the meeting. Should you need more time than allotted, please contact the teacher directly to make arrangements to meet.
Starting this week, we will be having our Community Assembly on the first Friday of the month, ONLY. Our next Community Assembly will take place on Friday, November 1st. Parents are welcome to join us in the gym from 7:45 - 8:00 AM as we celebrate and highlight some of our student achievements.
Mark your calendars for the weekend of October 25th-27th! We've got a Hornet filled weekend planned!
  • October 25th - Noon Dismissal & Homecoming game at St. Pius X High School
  • October 26th - Movie Night on the Field
  • October 27th - St. Ambrose Community Mass at 10:00 AM
Have a WONDERFUL week!
In Christ,
Ms. McDonald

Sports Pictures &
Picture Retakes

October 17th - Sports pictures
October 23rd - Retakes & Makeup Day

A friendly reminder for sports pictures and picture retakes.  Sports pictures are on October 17th at 4 pm in the Gym. The picture retake date is October 23rd. If you purchased pictures and want to retake them, the student needs to have the original photo in hand at the time of the retake. The student will give the picture to the photography and they will retake the picture. If the student was absent on the original day of pictures, they can take their picture at that time.

Please make sure your child's homeroom teacher knows if you wish for them to retake or take due to not being here on picture day.
