We have just been notified from our Cooktown skipper that this week a client landed a 1.2 metre barramundi.
Not a bad fish and from what we have been told the angler fished ecellently to land this fish. After photos the fish was released to breed and hopefully to be caught when you go up there.
Packages include airfares, accommodation and fishing are available and If you're planning to go, the best available time to go is the week before the full moon.

Dear Fishing Getaways,
I recently booked a trip to New Zealand through your company and I had nothing but great service from the beginning right through the trip to the end of the trip.
We had instant communication, quick responses and all our queries answered.
We chose the New Zealand Package, we did 3 full days fishing and we had the best experience, we caught Kingfish within minutes of hitting the water. The gear was good quality Shimano and we had a great experienced skipper guiding us through every day we were on the boat.
The accommodation was modern and comfortable and the owners were very informative and helpful, the location of the apartment was within walking distance of all amenities.
We are looking forward to our next fishing trip....
