Update: Distemper Outbreak at SPCA Tshwane under control

Owing to a large number of animals, and specifically stray and surrendered dogs that were taken in over the last few months, we have been battling a serious Canine Distemper outbreak at our Waltloo branch. As a result, our Adoption services had to be suspended in order to quarantine the premises and prevent the decease from spreading.
After an extended period of monitoring, we were able to lift the suspension on 25 February 2019 and have several dogs waiting for their forever homes.
