Community Garden Work Day 11/9

It’s very possible you have shown up for worship on a Sunday morning and seen a spread of fresh vegetables for people to take home! Those vegetables come from our community garden hosted at Laurel Babcock’s home.

The garden needs some end-of-season love, so if you have a green-thumb… or just regular thumbs and a strong back, join us on Saturday, November 9th, 10am-3pm at the Babcock’s home (5024 Trail Ridge Dr, Raleigh). Lunch will be provided! Questions? Contact Laurel (laurel.babcock@gmail.com).

NOTE: If you don't have a green thumb but like kids, we also need a volunteer or two to help with / play with the kids during the workday. Email us If you'd like to volunteer.

Leadership Board Nominations

At Ekklesia, we have a Leadership Board that meets with the pastors monthly to provide support, make decisions, and help steer the direction of the church. This is a very important team that has an needs wonderful people on it.

This year, we will be electing 3 new board members (as three current members cycle off). This week, we are accepting board nominations from the church. We will then compile the list of nominations and vote on November 17th and 24th.

If you would like to submit nominations, please CLICK HERE to do so. (You can also submit nominations on Sunday at church.) Questions, Email CJ.
