Subscriptions and Concert Dates to Diarise
Renewals for subscriptions for the 13th International Summer Music Festival on January 24 and 31 and February 7 and 14 are available at Dial-A-Seat on 021 421 7695 until November 16, after which you may lose the seats you may have had for years – the details are on the CPO web here
New subscriptions for the festival open on November 22 at Dial-A-Seat and Computicket
Single seats for the festival go on sale on November 30
If you cannot get tickets for Raphael Wallfisch on Thursday November 15, you can come to the dress rehearsal at 11 am
The final concert in the Les Amateurs Virtuoses piano festival takes place on Sunday, November 18 at the Cape Town City Hall at 18:00. There are still plenty of recitals and masterclasses on at the Baxter Concert Hall and Chisholm recital room this week. Information and booking here and here for the CPO concert
Overwhelming demand for the Duet Verdi Requiem on November 22 has enabled the opening of the dress rehearsal on Wednesday, November 21 at 19:30 at the City Hall. Unreserved; donation at the door in Longmarket Street
The Youth At Play gala concert featuring all the young musicians in our vast education and development programme at the Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre on December 01 is creating great interest Tickets here​
Seats are selling quickly for the Heavenly Quartez 10th anniversary concert with the CPO on December 02 Tickets here
Tickets for Olga Scheps, the soloist in the FOM benefit on November 29, are also selling out and the dress rehearsal has been opened at 11 that morning Concert bookings here
Pieter Schoeman, the South African violinist who is returning to pay tribute to the late great philanthropist Huberte Rupert, will perform the Bruch Violin Concerto in this concert at the Endler Hall in Stellenbosch on November 30. Chad Hendricks conducts Tickets here  
The last concert this year will take place on December 20 – an all-Beethoven gala with the superb British pianist Stephen Hough. Bernhard Gueller is on the podium. Tickets here
