VIRTUAL PASSOVER SEDER - Friday, April 10 at 7pm
We are hosting a Passover Seder on Good Friday via LIVESTREAM, a festival that’s been celebrated for over 4000 years. The Seder elements clearly demonstrate the Lord Jesus as the Passover Lamb and will leave you amazed by Gods perfect detail.

There is no cost or registration. If you would like to follow along in the various elements, here is how to prepare for a Seder:

Table Set-up:
Tablecloth (customary to ‘dress up ‘the table)
Candles (scatter candles throughout the room)
1 unlit candle on the table with matches nearby
Glassware (water & juice), plate and napkin for each participant
Extra wine goblet at the centre of the table for Elijah the prophet to join
Seder Plate (can be a single plate with all elements on it or bowls for each element or a combination, even bowls going down the centre of the table is nice):

  • Hard-boiled egg
  • Shank bone
  • Charoset (mixture of fruit, wine, nuts)
  • Horseradish
  • Salt water
  • Parsley

Matzoh – at least 3 pieces of matzoh on a plate covered with a cloth or napkin and place underneath or near the Seder plate (a  3-pocket matzoh cover is wonderful to use/have – can be easily made, but is not necessary)
Enough juice for 4 glasses per person (signifying the 4 stages of Exodus)

Other Items:
Copies of the Haggadah
Basin & towel
Pillows to recline on

(This is all optional and not necessary for you to simply join in on the livestream and observe what a Passover Seder is like. We'll post our slides on the livestream so you can follow along with each detail.)

We are so excited to celebrate the resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. And, possibly in a brand new way! Riverside is looking at potentially hosting a "Drive-in Service", where people have the option to broadcast the service to their radio and watch from their cars in the church parking lot. We are currently looking into regulations to see if this follows the BC Health guidelines. We are also looking for somebody who may have an FM Transmitter to use or something equivalent. Please email or call us at the church if you have a way to broadcast our audio signal.
*We still encourage people to watch from home, but this would be an opportunity for some to have a little connection with others (even though it's through a car).

1 Peter 1:3 – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…
