March Newsletter Feature Image

Dear Valued Customer,

HeinOnline doesn't let the shortest month of the year mean a shortage of new content.  Sit back and relax as we review HeinOnline's most recent additions.
  • We are pleased to announce that William S. Hein & Co., Inc. & HeinOnline has acquired the rights to the University of Washington Gallagher Law Library's Current Index to Legal Periodicals (CILP)! This publication was suspended in Fall 2019, but has recently been reinstated
  • While we steadily progress toward completing our enormous U.S. Congressional Serial Set digitization project, we've decided it was time to make the database even easier to navigate. To do so, we added a new Citation Lookup Tool and two new access points for information about the resource. Furthermore, in the past month alone, we added more than 400 volumes and more than 280,000 pages to this essential database. Use the Serial Set to examine the history of Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary in this month's Secrets of the Serial Set blog.
  • This month, we're offering a free 30-day trial* to Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals (IFLP)! Hosted in HeinOnline, IFLP is the preeminent multilingual index to articles and book reviews appearing in nearly 600 legal journals published worldwide. IFLP provides in-depth coverage of not only international law but also U.S. law, comparative law, common law, civil law, and more.
  • Our newest database, State Constitutions Illustrated, has been enhanced to include additional constitutional material for 16 states! This database is the most comprehensive state constitution research platform available, containing an extensive collection of pre-statehood primary material, as well as original and consolidated texts heavily annotated with references to case law.
  • The Session Laws Library indexing project continues: all 50 states are already indexed to the chapter or act level from 2000 to date. Now, we're working on indexing states back to inception one at a time, beginning with the most accessed states. As of this month, indexing of West Virginia and Connecticut was completed back to inception!
  • The number one source for Indian case law is finally available in HeinOnline's American Indian Law Collection! This is a comprehensive and unique source that reports cases—primarily in full-text format—from federal, state, and tribal courts, as well as administrative agencies. It is an essential resource for every individual, agency, government, and other institution that needs to keep abreast of developments in American Indian law.
