Comedian John Crist
Christian comedian and internet sensation John Crist will be in concert at VBF for the “Human Being Tour" Friday, March 22. Doors open at 6:30 pm and starts at 7:30 pm. With over 500 million video views, comedian and viral sensation John Crist is the next big thing in standup comedy.

Mobilizing In March

Join us for Mobilizing in March on Saturday, March 16, at 9:00 am, in the main sanctuary, as we serve Bakersfield! Service projects include city clean up, free car wash, convalescent home visits, graffiti removal, neighborhood block party, covering laundromat costs, and many more.
 
Man Cave
Men, come join us on Saturday, March 2, at 9:00 am, in Station 3:16, for a hearty breakfast, empowering message, and a great time of fellowship! CSUB Man Cave will meet at 9:00 am in the CSUB Student Union Building. Northwest Man Cave will meet at 9:00 am, at the Northwest campus, and Tehachapi Man Cave will meet at 9:00 am, at the Steampunk Cafe and Grill (20324 W. Valley Blvd.). VBF recommends attendees be age 14 and older for this ministry. For more information, please call the church office at (661) 325-2251.

Empower Women's Ministry:
Empower (VBF Women’s Ministries) invites you to join us for a light dinner, live worship and an impactful message from VBF’s own Jerri Jameson, on Sunday, March 10, in Station 3:16, at 6:00 pm. We are collecting new and very gently used (washed and clean) baby clothing, along with diapers, bottles, receiving blankets and pacifiers for our Change our City ministry! Childcare is provided for those who need it! Dinner is free and served on a first come, first serve basis. 
Adventures of the
Simple Life Ranch
We are so pleased to offer all of Pastor Ron's children's books in a series that the whole family can enjoy! Series includes Oreo Finds a Friend, Bella Goes to School, Charlie Finds a Home, and a USB flash drive full of activities. 

Series is $30 and individual books can be purchased for $10 each. They are available for purchase following any service or at VBF.org.
Couples Retreat
 We invite you to Valley Bible Fellowship’s 2019 Couple’s Retreat! The conference will be held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Long Beach, Friday, March 29 – Sunday, March 31! We sold out of the rooms we booked for the retreat, BUT you can now purchase Conference Only Tickets for the retreat ($50 per couple), book your own accommodations, and be added to the wait list for a hotel room where the conference will be held (if one should open up). Valley Schools Family Bingo Night:

Ohana Nights Fundraiser Dinner:
Valley Schools will be hosting their 9th Annual Ohana Nights Dinner on Saturday, March 23, at 5:00 pm, in Station 3:16. There will be a silent and live auction and reverse drawing for $5,000. Tickets are $125 per couple and include dinner for two. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the school office at (661) 325-5084. Help support the private school of VBF, while having a gala of a good time!

Single Moms Encouragement Dinner:
Come enjoy a catered dinner, lots of chatter and laughter, entertainment and friendship, as well as opportunity drawings for great prizes, on Thursday, March 7, at 6:00 pm, in Station 3:16. The main purpose of this event is to bless our single, hard working moms and give them a night off to feel loved, worthy, special and noticed!  For more information, call the church office at (661)325-2251.

MOPS:
MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers, will meet the second Tuesday of each month in the Xtreme building, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. March's meeting date is Tuesday, March 12. For more details, email MOPS@vbf.org.

MomsNext:
MomsNext will meet on Tuesday, March 19, at the Northwest campus, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. This is a ministry for moms of school aged children. For registration or more information, please contact Cassandra at (661) 747-4567.

Mom Squad:
 Mom Squad is a group for young mothers who need time away for fun and encouragement. This group meets at VBF’s Northwest campus, at 6228 Coffee Road, on Tuesday, March 12 and March 26, from 9:00 am 10:30 am. Westside Women’s Bible Study:
VBF ladies, join us for this monthly Bible study that meets on the second Tuesday of every month at our Northwest campus (6228 Coffee Road), from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. We will be going through Priscilla Shirer’s study, Discerning the Voice of God. March's meeting date is Tuesday, March 12. Books are available at the study for $15.

Women’s Divorce Care Group:
This group is for women who have gone through a divorce and are seeking community and Godly support with other women, while going through a curriculum to provide progress towards healing. The group will meet every Tuesday evening, at 7:00 pm, at our Northwest campus, in the high school room. Please visit VBFwomen.com for further information. 

High School Outdoor Movie Night:

High School Girls' Bible Study:
High School girls' Bible study group meets every other Thursday, this March 7 and March 21, at the Northwest campus, at 6:30 pm. For more information, please contact the church (661) 325-2251.

CSUB SLM Life Group:
The CSUB High School Ministry will be having a Bible study Monday, March 11 & March 25, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, to build fellowship and learn how to become a servant of God. For more information, please contact Genaro at the church office at (661) 325-2251 ext 777.

CSUB High School Game Night:
The CSUB High School ministry is having a “Game Night!” It will be hosted on Friday, March 8, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We are going to be playing Bunco, video games, charades and much more! Middle School Flight Fit N Fun:
The Middle School Ministry will be going to Flight Fit N Fun (formally called Rush Air Sports) on Friday, March 1, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The cost is $25 per student. Please wear athletic clothing. For more information, please call the church office at (661) 325-2251.
 
Middle School Basketball Ministry:
 The Middle School Basketball ministry meets every other Monday, March 4 and March 18, in the Xtreme building, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This ministry consists of a Bible Study that follows the Valley Bible Fellowship study guide. After our Bible study, we start our open gym basketball games that are ten minutes each! Xtreme Bro Chill:
Bring your second through fifth grade boy out to Bro Chill on Saturday, March 2, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, in the Xtreme building. The boys will have a huge football game and study the word with our wonderful
Xtreme leaders.
 
Xtreme Girls' Bible Study:
Bring your second through fifth grade girls out for our monthly girls' Bible study on Saturday, March 2, in room 15 of the Jungle, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am! The girls will have a time of worship, crafts, games and study led by our wonderful Xtreme leaders.

Xtreme Nerf War:
Join us for our annual Nerf War on Friday, March 8, at 5:00 pm, on the playground grass. This is an action packed event in a very safe environment! Kids are encouraged to bring their own Nerf products from home; VBF will provide Nerf products for those who don’t have their own.

Wagon Train sign ups:
Wagon Train sign ups for our second through fifth graders start on Sunday, March 17, during both services. For more information, please contact Linda at the church offices at (661) 325-2251.

50 Plus Meeting:
Join us for a special presentation of  “Enabling our Addicted Adult Children” to provide information on how NOT to become an enabler for our adult children or grandchildren, on Monday, March 11, at 6:30 pm, at the Northwest campus.

Celebrate Recovery:
Celebrate Recovery is a recovery program aimed at all “hurts, habits, and hang ups” including but not exclusive to: high anxiety, co-dependency, compulsive behaviors, sex addiction, financial dysfunction, drug and alcohol addictions, and eating disorders. This meets every Friday, at the Northwest campus, at 6:30 pm, and at the East campus at 7:00 pm.

Crochet Ministry:
 Learn how to crochet and create pieces with a big purpose! This ministry meets every second and fourth Monday of the month, March 11 and March 25, at 6:30 pm, in room 12, at the main campus. Beginners to advanced levels are welcome. Bring any project you are working on or a ball of cotton yarn and size "H" hook.

Every Man's Battle:
Every Man's Battle meets every Thursday evening for 8 weeks, ending March 28, at the Northwest campus, at 6:00 pm. This class is for men that are dealing with sexual temptations.

Home Church (Young Adults):
Young Adults Group meets every Tuesday night off campus at 6:30 pm. Please call the church office for more details (661) 325-2251 or email home@vbf.org. 

Adopt-A-Block:
The goal of Adopt-A-Block is to build relationships with the people of Bakersfield, and the key to success is consistency. No gimmicks; just genuine relationships. We want to make a difference in the lives of people living in our city. We want to show them the love of Christ. We do this by visiting door-to-door and spending time with the families, playing games with the kids, handing out clothes, picking up trash, praying for families, and inviting families to church. Join us in the Xtreme on Saturday, March 9, and Saturday, March 23, at 9:45 am.

Sunday Night Services:
Come join us on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary at our East Brundage location, for our LIVE sermon from Sunday morning, including live worship, and children’s services, nursery through 5th grade.                                            

VBF Squad Runners:
Squad Runners meet every Monday evening, in Station 3:16, at 6:00 pm, for a Life Group Bible study, followed by a quick run or walk. We also meet at Starbucks on Stockdale Hwy and Gosford Rd. every Saturday morning at 6:30 am. For more information, please contact Pastor Al Martinez at (661) 325-2251 ext 115.

Hospital Ministry:
If you know of someone who is hospitalized and would appreciate prayer and a visit from the VBF Hospital Ministry Team, please call the church office at (661) 325-2251. The teams visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
